Richard Galeano is an Area Manager for the Queensland Ambulance
Service on the Sunshine Coast and continues to practice
as an Intensive Care Paramedic.
He has 25 years service as a paramedic and manager in both
Victorian and Queensland Ambulance Services and is involved
in an undergraduate health science program at the Queensland
University of Technology, where he tutors in Primary Health
Care.
Richard's interests are in the physical health of ambulance
personnel; prehospital care research and the impact of primary
health care upon the delivery of acute ambulance services.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Business from the Royal Melbourne
Institute of Technology (RMIT) and a Master of Public Health
from the University of New South Wales.
